What Are Your Age Limits? 

We accept students as young as 5 years old (Kindergarten). Our oldest student ever was 91 years old.

 

What Are Your Rates? 

Depending on many factors, our rates range from $16 to $62 per hour. Our monthly packages start as low as $95. Please call us for details.

 

Does My Child Need Tutoring? 

If you simply want your child to move ahead or if your child is experiencing declining grades, difficulty in completing homework, pre-test anxiety, self-esteem issues, a general lack of interest in learning, and under challenged, then we can help you with tutoring. We also have experience in working with gifted children and children with mild learning disability.

 

Does My Child Have To Take An Assessment Test? 

There is no requirement to take assessment tests; however we do offer assessment tests for Grades 2-11, in Math and English, using the standard California test samples.  Each test takes about 45 minutes to an hour to complete.

 

How Soon Will I See Results? 

Some children progress rapidly while others take longer. For most though, you will see an improvement after 15 hours of tutoring and will see a higher grade after 30 hours. In general, it takes weeks to see an improvement but months to see concrete results.

 

What Are The Qualifications Of Your Tutors? 

We have a variety of tutors, including college students, recent college graduates, school teachers, and college professors. We do extensive interviewing and check references before hiring our tutors. We only hire the best and the brightest tutors.

 

I Would Like My Child To Succeed. How Do I Start? 

It's very easy. Just contact us and we will start a conversation to understand your goals and concerns. Generally we can have your child enrolled in our program within a day.

 

Do Bravo Tutors Work With My Child's Teacher Or School? 

Yes. Bravo will work in partnership with your child's teacher and school to track progress and help your child to achieve his/her goals.

 

What About The Cost Of Supplies And Learning Materials? 

There are no costs associated with supplies and learning materials. Bravo provides all as a service to you.

 

Do You Help With Students' School Homework? 

At the parents' request we will help the students with their homework and assign them additional homework.

 

What If I Am Not Happy With My Tutor? 

Bravo employs many teachers, so in general it is easy to change tutors.

 

Do You Work With Special Needs Or Gifted Students? 

Yes, we have extensive experience in all those areas.

 

Can You Tutor Both Of My Children At The Same Time? 

Yes. We also have special low rates for tutoring kids in a small group.

 

Can You Pickup My Child From School? 

No, but there are businesses that specialize in that.  We do not have a recommendation.

 

I Home School My Child. Can You Help Me? 

We have extensive experience working with students who are home schooled.

 

Can Your Tutors Come To Our Home? 

No, we provide tutoring in our beautiful office and also online.

 

What Are Your Hours Of Operation? 

We are open all year around.  Our hours of operations are weekdays from 11am to 8pm, Fridays 1-6 and Saturdays-Sundays 12pm to 3pm.

 

I Am A Senior. Can I Learn Computers? 

Most students we teach computers are seniors (our oldeset was 91 years old). We have a lot of experience and patience working with seniors. Everyone can learn how to use computers.
